ABOUT THORNTON STUDIOS
Since 1969, THORNTON STUDIOS has been serving the Naval Academy community with quality videography and fine portraiture. During the last 24 Years THORNTON STUDIOS has specialized in producing videotapes about the Naval Academy. These tapes include: Plebe Summer, Herndon Monument Climb, the Plebe Year Yearbook, Sea Trials and Commissioning Week. In 2005, Larry Thornton began developing this website --USNAGRADS.COM. It was inspired by his longtime relationship with the Academy as well as his belief and understanding of the archival importance of the historical Lucky Bag photographs to USNA graduates and their descendants.
	Larry Thornton, an Annapolis resident, has family ties to the Naval Academy. His father attended the Academy in the late 1930's. Mr. Thornton himself is the past President and Chairman of the Board of the Maryland Professional Photographers' Association. He has earned many state, regional, national awards for his portraiture and videography.
